A local camp with a global calling...
When you give to Camp Glow, you are partnering with the Glow Mission to spread the Good News of Jesus all across the world. From running discipleship retreats to building churches to supporting orphans and widows, the heartbeat of our mission is all about Love. We rely on the Love and Giving of others to give our lives fully to serving and discipling others.​
We believe that every seed sown will yield a harvest, and every gift given will be poured back in beautiful measure.
ways to give
1. give to keep our camp running
Camp GLOW is on 33 acres in Kannapolis NC. The camp began as a girl scout camp in the 1940s and has impacted thousands of people in our communities over the years. The camp sat vacant for a season after shutting down in 2020 but after reopening its doors, we are slowly bringing it back to life. There are multiple buildings and spaces at camp that need attention and care. We would love for you to pray about being a giving partner to support the needs at Camp Glow. Also, giving your time at our work days helps with sharing the work load at camp.
2. give to sponsor campers in need
We are blessed to be able to link arms with families across our region to teach their children the beauty of walking with God in the arts and great outdoors. Many of our families are on limited income and need financial assistance for their children to be a part of different activities at camp. We have a camp policy that no child is turned away for financial reasons. Our prayer is that every child that needs to come is fully supported by churches and families in our area. Giving a child the gift of a summer camp can completely change their lives and gives them an experience of being fully loved and fully surrounded by joy.
3. give to support CAMP PASTOR AND DIRECTOR TONY AND LAUREN WAGONER
Tony and Lauren Wagoner (and their five amazing children) left their jobs in June 2023 to fully give their lives to impacting the generations at Camp Glow. They have always had a heart for missions and a heart to teach younger generations how to be on mission with the Gospel of Jesus at every stage in their life. Their "yes" to the Lord has taken so much faith that God will continue to supply their needs. When you say yes to giving to support their family, you are helping equip future leaders that will go on to impact our communities and the world with His Love.
